- #5318 : Wine to tempt monks. A monk, seeking to convert Saladin, asks whether the Mohammedans refrain from meat, women, and wine. When they acknowledge the use of wine he serves them a meal without wine and tempts them with women. They resist, but after a second meal succumb to the temptation. (See also: 1816).
