ALEXANDRE EXPLORE L’AIR ET LA MER. 1 Selon certaines histoires, au temps de Mardochée régnait le roi Alexandre. 2 Cet Alexandre se fit porter par quatre griffons sur un siège en l’air; 3 il avait un morceau de viande fiché sur une lance, qu’il tournait dans la direction où il voulait aller, parce que les griffons étaient affamés. 4 Ensuite il se fit descendre en mer dans un tonneau de verre: il faisait cela pour explorer la terre et la mer. 5 On peut conclure qu’à plus forte raison nous devons désirer connaître la beauté du ciel, quand Alexandre risquait ainsi sa vie pour voir la terre et la mer.
