(Fr.) La petite fille nourrie avec du venin. La reine d’Inde envoie à Alexandre une très belle jeune fille qui, nourrie avec du venin de serpent, tue les hommes avec le regard. Aristote le met en garde et lui sauve la vie. Cette histoire montre qu’on doit éviter même le regard des femmes, qui peut tuer l’âme.

(It.) La fanciulla nutrita col veleno. La regina dell?India invia ad Alessandro una bellissima fanciulla che, nutrita col veleno dei serpenti, uccide gli uomini con lo sguardo ; Aristotele lo mette in guardia e gli salva la vita. Questo dimostra che si deve evitare anche la vista delle donne, che può uccidere l’anima.
