SummaryRésuméZusammenfassungSommarioResumen:
(Fr.)
(It.) Sant?Andrea.

  • #214 : Andrew, St., three questions asked of. A bishop, devoted to St. Andrew, is tempted by the devil in the shape of a young woman. St. Andrew appears in order to protect him, and the devil insists that he answer three 5uestions: 1) What is the mightiest act of God? (That he made man in different shapes); 2) When is earth above heaven? (When God in earthly form sits on his throne); and 3) How far is it from heaven to earth? (The asker has had a chance to measure it). The woman disappears. (Var. Told also of St. Bartholomew.)
