(Fr.) Herbert connaît une moniale ayant le don de prophétie. Un jour, Dieu lui apparaît dans une vision pour se plaindre des chrétiens qui le gardent dans une porcherie, le traitant encore plus mal que les païens et les juifs. Lorsque la religieuse rend publiques les paroles de Dieu, une recherche est effectuée jusqu'à ce que la personne responsable avoue avoir caché une hostie dans un trou du seuil, dans une porcherie. Lorsqu'on la retrouve, elle est presque intégralement transformée en chair. On la transporte ensuite de manière digne à l'église.

(It.) Herbertus conosce una monaca dotata del dono della profezia. Un giorno le appare Dio per lamentarsi dei cristiani che lo tengono in una porcilaia, trattandolo peggio dei pagani e degli ebrei. Quando la monaca rende pubbliche le parole di Dio si fa una ricerca fino a quando il responsabile non confessa di aver nascosto un’ostia in un foro sulla soglia, di una porcilaia, dove viene prima ritrovata, ormai quasi completamente trasformata in carne e poi trasportata e deposta degnamente in chiesa.
