CAPITULUM LXIII De bubalis qui custodem suum interfecerunt.

Cum Wilhelmus novicius noster in4304 prima expeditione Jerosolymitana rediret Romam, casum ibi tunc recentem audivit, unde multi mirabantur. Bubulcus quidam bubalos4305 iuxta urbem paverat viginti annis et amplius. Die quadam cum non procul a pascentibus in agro dormiret, quatuor ex eis convenientes, frontes quasi ad colloquium coniungebant, et post horam ad4306 suum custodem currentes, tum pedibus calcando, tum4307 cornibus ventilando, eum in frusta dividentes interfecerunt.
