Ad idem. Quidam prelatus fuit qui deliciis affluens efficiebatur languidus, nec medicinis poterat curari. Cum autem semel legisset quod abstinentia esset medicina corporis et anime, et ipse esset totus corruptus et in corpore et in mente, ut ex bona medicina utriusque recuperaret sanitatem, diversis deliciis et pompis contemptis, intravit ordinem Cisterciensem. Quod audiens quidam archiepiscopus ad eum visitandum accessit, et reperiens ipsum totum curatum, dixit ei:" Miror multum quomodo delicie et medicine nocebant et fabe et olera vos curaverunt, cibaria abhorretis delicata, et nunc comeditis sicut lupus. “ Tunc ille respondit: “ Domine, verum dicitis, sed ego feci sicut lupus sicut etiam facit aquila, serpens et cervus, que dum gravantur corruptis humoribus et volunt vetustatem deponere abstinent et jejuniant. Sic ego feci, aliter sicut illa a veneno et a vetustate peccati fuissem consumptus. "
