Unde in Vitas Patrum dicitur quod beatus Anthonius visitavit sanctum Didimum qui in profunditate sciencie et Sacre Scripture expositione similem non habebat. Quia vero privatus estlumine oculorum quesivit eum Anthonius an tristaretur. Cui ille: "Potius gaudere debeo quia oculos angelicos dedit mihi Deus, qui mihi innocentiam et ultimam vitam custodiunt et demonstrant, non sicut oculi corporis. Quibus similes sumus vermibus et serpentibus, angelis autem oculis mentis. "
