(En.) A man was condemned by Rabbi Akiba to pay a fine for having publicly dishehevelld the hair of a woman. Advised by another man, he went and broke a jar of oil at her door. She came out and wiped it up with her hair. By this trick he thought to get out of the fine. But Rabbi Akiba ruled: " Voluntary and forced are diffrent." (Gaster, p.77)

(Fr.) Un homme qui avait dévoilé une femme sur la place du marché fut condamné par Rabbi Akiba à une amende de 400 zouz. Il lui demanda un délai qui lui fut accordé. Il vint alors casser une cruche d’huile devant la porte de cette femme. Celle-ci sortant de chez elle, se dévoila et utilisa son voile pour essuyer l" huile et ne pas la perdre. L’homme vint alors avec des témoins chez Rabbi Akiba en lui disant : " C’est à cette femme impudique que je dois payer une amende !" Mais Rabbi Akiba ne se laissa pas duper et maintint l'amende.
