Castitas multa bona facit et inducit in nobis. Primo enim est doloris mitigativa.

refert rufinus quod cum Gregorius Nazacenus cum castitate in philosophia studeret Athenis, vidit dum legeret duas decoras et pulcerrimas domicellas, quarum una ad dexteram, altera ad sinistram erat posita. Cunque ille diligenter inspiceret et interrogaret que essent et quid vellent perquirebat, tunc ille familiarius amplectantes dixerunt : "Ne moleste capiatis nam familiares et note tue sumus adeo tibi habitaculum preparasti, ut in omni dolore, labore et anxietate tibi continue assistemus. ”
