Septimo accidia est divine laudis impeditiva.

Quidam monachus temptabatur pigricia quotiens erat ad matutinas surgendum. Unde ex timore vigiliarum perfundebatur sudore. Putans autem hoc esse ex infirmitate vestibus se cooperiebat. Cum autem quadam nocte ceteris dormientibus ipse vellet surgere, dyabolus sub lecto clamavit: "Noli surgere, noli corrumpere sudorem tuum quia tibi non expedit. ” Quod ille illusionem dyaboli attendens de cetero ad divinas laudes studiosius anhelavit.
