Quarto nocet. refert Jacobus de Vitriaco quod cum duo latrones in nundinis convenissent, unus volens furari quandam coronam auream a quodam mercatore, requirit ut posset portare eam ad dominum suum. Cumque ille concessisset cum custodia, ille deduxit eam ad socium suum, qui videbatur homo magne nobilitatis. Et quia volebat habere medietatem in furto, primus latro ad mercatorem coronam reduxit, et accusato socio, dum fuisset suspensus, iste adhuc recuperans coronam cum ea fugit.
