Ira multa mala inducit in nobis. Primo est demonis associativa.

Legitur quod fuit quidam sanctus nomine Y saac qui summe a demonibus timebatur. Qui cum interrogaretur que esset causa, respondit :. « Ira est tempestas dissipans, ignis Ïnfemalis, serpens pestiferus, hostis destruens habentem, defedatio officii divini, corruptio ymaginum Dei, mensa lucri demonis, lignum spinosum; et ideo ex quo fui monachus, cum hoc summe diligatur a demone, non intravit cor meum. "
