Unde narrat Cesarius quod fuerunt duo abbates quorum unus erat epularius et abundabat, alter avarus et indiguit. Cujus causam a sancto viro requirens, audivit: "Duo fratres fuerunt simul quorum unus vocabatur Date et alter -[f° 16]- vocabatur Dabitur. Quia vero tu repulisti Date, ideo perdidisti Dabitur, reducas ergo primum et habebis secundum. ” Quod et fecit et abundavit.
